Why has 2021 been so lame girl group wise? Title Tracks have been the definition of uneventful

I feel like everyone is waiting for something from the Big 3 girl groups or Big Hit and are completely overlooking the releases so far from the smaller agencies.

At the end of this year, I suspect everyone will look back and agree that 2021 was the year of the Rise of the Nugu Rookies, when the Korean Public and International fans finally acknowledge that the smaller agency girl groups can compete with and maybe even outperform the major agency GG in terms of Talent, Visuals, MV Quality, Music Bops and even sales/charting.

I think people are waiting for things to start opening up more before they start promoting. They think things will be more normal in the second half of the year.

But yeah there has been like ZERO girl group comebacks, very sad
