Do you space out during classes?

It depends on the teacher/professor tbh...

Some are amazing and manage to make even boring subjects kind of fun. Others just talk and talk and talk in a monotone, citing hundreds of §§s (I study tax) until my brain shuts down.

Yeah sometimes. It typically depends on the teacher and the lesson. In Medical Term (because of the lesson) and Science (because the teacher is so monotone) I space out unless we do a project or something. In choir I fall asleep unless we have to sing lmao

In other classes, no, not really.
