Hello nobody4444, I don't know if you know about this information but there is this guy name Cheng Li Yu (鄭吏佑) from the survival show Asia Super Young who said that his mother is Vietnamese in his Introduction video, but I couldn't find any video with English subtitle or Vietnamese subtitle. I didn't know about this information. I just saw the video that you showed and Zhèng Lìyòu from Asia Super Young indeed said in Mandarin that his mother is Vietnamese and counted to 10 in Vietnamese but he has a very heavy Chinese accent and his Vietnamese pronunciation is bad unfortunately. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to follow all those music survival show anymore. I thank you very much for your information. I just added Zhèng Lìyòu on the list of singers of Vietnamese descent in non-Vietnamese language music on the first page of this thread.

The 16-year-old Vietnamese female singer was eliminated from the show in Korea
Vu Linh Dan, a Vietnamese trainee, stopped in the first elimination round of the survival show Universe Ticket, SBS, Korea made many viewers regret. In episode 4, 39 contestants were eliminated, including Linh Dan.
Although not a prominent contestant on the show, Linh Dan still received good reviews from international audiences. Many people commented that the contestant from Vietnam has a good voice and slim figure, but is limited in stage performance skills.
In the group competition, Linh Dan performed the song TT by Twice. The program’s director confirmed that the number of votes is not related to skill assessment. ”On broadcast shows, contestants can only show off what they are good at, but it is difficult for viewers to know what they are like during actual practice. We want to focus on that,” the executive director said.
In addition, he said he would respect issues such as screen time and drama creation. However, the issue of voting and the contestants’ uneven and unreasonable screen time goes against the director’s words.
