FNC sent Cherry Bullet to Girls Planet 999! MNet will confirm in next week-two

Cherry Bullet are reportedly joining Mnet's upcoming audition show 'Girls Planet 999'.

According to reports on April 7, 'Girls Planet 999' opened applications earlier this year, and agency trainees as well as already debuted girl group members applied. It's now been revealed FNC Entertainment girl group Cherry Bullet also applied, but it's yet to be confirmed whether they'll appear in the final lineup.

It's reported the production schedule for 'Girls Planet 999' is running behind due to a change in the production team, and at this point, the final lineup is expected to be confirmed in mid-April. Filming is set to start in June, and the show is scheduled to premiere by September.

The competitors who make it to the final lineup will become part of Mnet's new virtual idol world 'Girls Planet.' K-pop platform UNIVERSE will also be utilized for digital content and voting.

not necessary because as from what I know each trainee/idol needed to fill application, so MNet might take all girls but also we might have a situation when they will take just 1 or 2 members, also this might differ depends on how many contestants they will take to whole show, there isn't any official into yet but people were suggesting that there might be 99 members and that final group might have 9 members, then Girls Planet 999 will be a meaningful name.

Cherry Bullet  is already 2 years old. How would this benefit the group, unless it’s already arranged for them to get exposure and not win.. the idea of taking already debuted groups is bad imo. I’m excited for the show tho..

it's not bad, they do it all the time in China and it plays well for female contestants

if you look at THE9 most of them were earlier in different groups, or even during Youth with You they were representing those groups.

Oh I don’t follow cpop. But groups have 7 year contract, 2 years are down and 2-3 could be in this temp group feels a lot to me. But maybe the company wishes for a nuest type of situation where the group continue without the member(s)

well if Mnet would take even 1-2 girls to the final squad, then other 5-6 will still stay in Cherry Bullet, and I bet group will get more fans.
