Wendy "Like Water" MV

All songs are amazing! As expected from Wendy. I'm looking forward to her next album.

It could easily be played in the West. Overall, it has a good flow. If there isn't a full-English version available, then SME is blind and missing the boat just like JYPE when it comes to their best native speakers/singers.

The biggest and only flaw of the song is the drumming. It doesn't feel as closely "connected" to the "pulse" of the song as I think it should. The snare and kick drums sound like they are "back in the cut"..in a corridor or something instead of being up front and "present" in the song. Some good drum-reference examples:

• Faith Hill - Breathe
• Solar - Blue Bird

Great debut. Songs n good ballad but does get a liiiitle boring in the middle till she kicks it after the bridge with an awesome finale. MV is gorgeous.

The video was lovely but when the song got to the chorus it wasn't anything special to listen to. Even if it had meaningful lyrics that's not what's most important for me....

MV is so beautiful. The bridge is so good, plus Wendy's vocal is like heaven. SM always has good bridge in the song.

I feel like it would have been nice if they gave it more of a rock or jazz feel like Taeyeon's I or her 'My Voice' album. Her vocals still blow me out of the water! (if you get what i mean ) I actually made a rock ballad ver. of Like Water to highlight her vocals a little more :)

Bop. I love the ethereal vibe. Her voice is heavenly, esp. in the chorus when she gives embellishment (idk the right term) at the end of each lines. It's the highlight of the chorus, i don't understand why ppl find it bland.

When This Rain Stops is bop as well.
