There's much to be said about Min Heejin and the nitty gritty of various court cases but what this entire incident did is expose the media mirage Hybe had built around themselves. The idea of Bang Shi Hyuk the kpop genius, BTS's organic and exceptionalist narrative, their so called penchant for changing the music industry and bringing about innovation, and most specifically the underdog narrative. It all got shattered in 2 years.
I think there's still a few years until we get the full scope of the Hybe ADOR case but it's obvious that the Hybe bubble has popped. It's only downwards from here. It's what they get for trying to buy legacy and watering down a genre.
