Have you seen any country which treats a world renowned star and someone barely known outside of the country in the same league?

Some major pop stars come from countries not well known.

I don not know who was the most popular artist in Sweden when Abba ruled.

I do not know who was the biggest star in Colombia during Shakira's heyday.

But, anyone who knows a bit about KPop is aware that in Korea, BTS and BlackPink are less popular than IU.

What is that?

Lim Youngwoong belongs to a different league so he is out of discussion.

But , even now, Korea treats IU above BTS and BlackPink, when people in the West barely know IU and if they know her it is probably through her acting.

If it is not absurd, I do not know what is not absurd.

Still reverence of someone who is barely known outside of the land is something very hard to find a parallel outside of USA

Seokjin should have 'suspended' his membership as BTS and enlisted as an individual, stating that his enlistment had nothing to do with the other members.

And all these people crying for OT7. What did they get? The OT7 were buried by Huntr/x and Saja Boys, and Jungkook fell to the level of aespa.

I wonder they are happy about this huge fall of grace of BTS.
