GPP - Bring it Back MV - bop or flop? Do you like debut of SM new girl group?

I will give it a "blop". I liked the chorus and the bridge, but the rest of the song was a little too EDM for my taste.

They gave me a female EXO vibe.

But, honestly, it doesn't seem like SM spent any money on the MV or promoting the group at all? Why even debut them if you weren't going to promote them properly? This literally looks like a dance performance video rather than an MV? And apparently, SM didn't even post it on their main channel?

overall it's group under SM Japan, and also it's just digital single, I think they've just wanted to release any kind of song this year, probably to later use group, maybe even for some SM Town concerts etc.

Still not great promotion for an SM group.

Especially when you look at the promotions for the debuts of H2H and AESPA in comparison.

I gave it a listen and it's not bad

MV reminded me of BoA - Double

There's good parts in it and then some parts that takes you out of the song. The MV is awful and they need to fix it.

Blop for now but I will give it more listens without the MV.

The 2-step rhythm is kinda fun, but otherwise it’s so painfully generically SM.

It even sounds like a few reused samples from aespa’s black mamba, but compared to that debut which was full of personality and lore this feels like it has nothing unique to offer.

Generic group, in generic box MV, performing generic sm song, wearing generic outfits. I think they’re gonna need to break the mold more if they want to make waves in Japan.
