I'm a little disappointed about Taeyeon's upcoming album

The playlist is good but many of my fav taeyeon songs are not included so, I'm disappointed as well.

I thought she'd release more songs highlighting her biggest strengths as a vocalist and add in all her hits and chart toppers.

Whew! I'm not anticipating this anymore.

To explain, I completely understand why they're releasing a compilation with the greatest hits and I'm happy that she's celebrating her 10th solo anniversary this year, but I wish we got more new songs. I also understand why there's only one new song, but I just wish we could get more, haha.

I remember it was announced in the SM lineup that she'll get a full album in the last quarter of 2025, and I was so excited for all this new music from her I guess I'll have to wait till next year, cause that's been her pattern for a while.

The only thing I'm happy about is that we'll finally get the physical release of Rain! I like buying actual CDs, so I'm happy I can own it now.

The best of taeyeon album should have like 25 or 30 old songs. Not only 9.

The album will actually have 24 songs, 22 of which are her old songs + 2 versions of the new song. Overall it's supposed to have 2 cds.

But I know what you mean, it also doesn't include some of my favourite songs which is a shame. I don't mind that much though, because I can always listen to her previous albums. But I do wish we got at least three new songs or more.

I'm hoping maybe she could have another comeback in the first half of 2026, though knowing SM I'm not counting on it.

I only see two new versions of the old songs on the track list, and "I" sounds like it's just the same song without the rap verse. Where did you hear that the other songs were getting new versions?

People will upload any new songs somewhere, with or without an official digital release.

I mean the live version.

Its fine for me, because the rearrangement/remix could be more "fresh"

But the thing about full album. I hope the AR team change the direction, because I'm not a fan of Letter to myself mini album
