A controversial opinion on KATSEYE

I do feel that Yoonchae struggles to fit in this group sometimes... but I do think she still brings a balance to the group with her softness. Katseye would be too edgy for my liking without Manon and Yoonchae.

So I would say... Katseye is better with all 6 of them.

She's too young to be in katseye but I don't think cute concepts suits her best.

I see her doing well in a group like meovv.

I think the argument that shes a little too young is true, but i think her cutesy demeanor is actually extremely necessary. You dont want to have too many “main character” personalities in a room and id argue that she, Daniela and Sophia are pretty good at kind of making a noticeably softer mark on the groups dynamic.

I almost think of every global group as more of a Spice Girls situation where you need to truly appeal to everyone with separate people. Sporty Spice made tom boys feel cool, Ginger made feminist women feel empowered, Posh kept the sexy appeal (and men), Scary Spice made poc feel welcome in the traditional pop space as well as “free spirits” and then finally (much like yoonchae) Baby Spice made younger women and more traditionally girly girls feel cool and welcome.

She suits the group if you don’t have a one dimensional regressive view on Korean women and how they should behave.

Also isnt EUNchae in Le Sserafim and YOONchae in katseye?
