What's your opinion on IVE as a group and individually?

Like most 4th gen groups, they had really strong songs to start but have faltered over the last several years for the most part. I'm still waiting for them to get it back. But they still haven't gotten close. "I AM" is the top 4th gen song.
Yujin and rap god Rei are goated
I have no opinion on any other member. -

They're a well constructed group who started off strong but kind of inconsistent with title tracks. They do have some quality b-sides but unsure how may casual listeners check those songs out.
I agree that Yujin is well rounded and I think she should receive more praise. I think she's probably the most well rounded idol and I see a bright future for her.
Rei - is an interesting idol because I feel she's versatile and her personality can win fans over.
Liz - is interesting because she had a shaky start with the public, but it's nice to see her finally receiving praise. I think she's the glue of the group and one of the best 4th gen vocalist.
Gauel - seems to be underrated and I think she improved. I think Starship should allow her to upload more dance covers
Wonyoung - not much needs to be said, but I think she improved a lot over the years. She easily could have put it on cruise control because she's an it girl but she kept on working hard to improve as an idol. I am curious to see if she pursues acting because I think she will thrive in that industry
Leeseo - I feel gets overshadowed by the other members, but maybe I don't watch enough Ive content to have a different opinion
Overall I think they're a hard working group, but I wish title tracks can improve but I enjoy their b-sides.

they have some really cute songs and woonyoung is pretty, but overall since noone is vocally impressive and i am not obsessed with their songs i never cared about them deeply

The best
Always takes criticism and improve they gotten so much better at performing and live singing compared to their debut
Their World tour brought them confidence like no other. I saw them live and they were phenomenal
Underrated B-sides, you have gems like Blue Blood, Holy Moly, Ice Queen all theses are unskipppable.
And Gaeul my love

Aa a group- iconic, have amazing songs like their discography is solid.
Individually- like any other 4th gen group I know almost nothing about them like real fans do, but I appreciate them, they are all pretty, seem nice and work hard, they don't take their job as a joke, always do their best so I think this is nice.

They have some okay songs, and some weird ones, but they desperately need a rebranding. Their snobby rich girl persona is too much of a turn-off no matter what else they're doing. It's such an overwhelming vibe that, at least to a more casual observer like myself, they come across as a group who even dislike each other. Even Blackpink managed to avoid this pitfall, despite being the ones to turn haughty egotism into a concept.

Usually they don’t appeal to me, but I quite like their new song.

I find them boring for the most part. I don't stan any member either and I was never a big fan of Wonyoung. I only like Liz and maybe Rei.
The group overall represent well gen 4, with it's over insistance on visuals with a lack of care for proper lead/main vocals. Which I think is highly detrimental to the sound and their music quality. Which is something I always disliked in kpop. A bunch of pretty girls assembled (for the most part) without proper sound or vision and no hight musical standarts.
For example, if a girl like Jo Yuri was added instead of Gaeul, it could have made a rather solid somewhat A/A- tier (not S tier) group. But with Gaeul and also Leeso who regressed alot after their debut, it's B tier at best. In it's quality. So it's kind of a chop group/project for me.
And for their songs, I LOVED Kitsch and Off the Record, + Accendio; Eleven and Love Dive are nice too. But that's it. I don't like 80/90% of their discography otherwise. They haven't released anything good or even decent as a tt since kitsch!
Starship screwed up this group with their creative and musical direction, it's actually sad to see it happen over and over again for the past 2 years. It's a huge waste. Cause even if the whole project is not up my standarts or is my cup of tea, with good songs and great pop bangers, the group could still have been enjoyable! Now they're just boring.

Stan Gaeul
And Gaeul my love
CULTURED AS FUCK!
I like their music for the most part, and almost all their tt's grow on me a lot. Even songs I initially really dislike on release, I end up liking. Enough so that most IVE songs are on my main big "kpop girl groups" custom playlist. I do kind of wish they'd have a more focused overall concept though, they've been aimless for a while in that regard.
Some people find it a little cringe, but I do like their whole "sampling classic pop songs" thing in some of their tracks.
BUT...
I kind of just can't get into stanning them as a group. Like, I like most of their music but they just don't appeal to me as a group to follow and get interested in for some reason.
When it comes to the members... its where the problem is.
I LOVE GAEUL, very much my favorite member of my group, and it chaps my hide that she usually gets the short end of the stick distribution and attention wise.
I also like Yujin a lot, she's cool as hell. And I admire Wonyoung for her absolute professionalism and dedication to being the consummate idol and for standing up or herself against hostile media and even netizens.
BUT... the other three members? I just can't remember them. Even their names. Rei. Liz... someone else. And I can't put those two and half names to any of the remaining three faces. They literally just blur together for me. For me, IVE is literally Gaeul, Yujin, Wony and... the others.

I like them
Starship really hit it out of the park with WY and YJ and that momentum from izone really carried through to IVE
an interesting hypothetical would be would IVE be as big as it is without Annyeongz and secondly would whatever group that did have Annyeongz be as big as IVE...
for the other members - Rei is a tiktok superstar and she's got a good future in comedy and variety shows
Liz will continue to shine as a great singer
Leeseo and Gaeul hasn't had as many individual activities but I'm sure they'll come along in the future but it will be interesting to see where they go individually outside the group

but there are 6 girls in that group, and im rather indifferent to yujin's voice or her forced hight notes tbh. liz is the only real pretty voice for me in that group, and has the healthiest most natural vocal abilities. but even then you can't have just two members singing everything.
half of them should be lead vocalist at least. and another beautiful tone/voice and good vocals like yuri instead of an almost tone deaf members like gaeul (no offense), would have elevated the group and their music greatly!
i can already imagine those amazing yuri x liz runs and harmonies...
edit: also njz sound is vastly different from ive, the project was more focused on artistry, vocal tones and emotional delivery rather than high notes and crazy vocal runs like in classic kpop which was more ive's music signature style.
nj girls haven't even really showcased nor developped their full vocal abilities yet. cause it wasn't neccessary for their sound or their concept. and eventho for now they aren't flashy vocalists, ALL of them can sing well and have beautiful voices. which is a KEY point of why their music is so addictive as well, which was my main point all along in my original comment
