Why in Sam hill does every male idol need to have the exact same hairstyle? It does nothing but reinforce stereotypes of idols being manufactured robot clones.

    I was perusing TW to get clips of mah girl Karina looking amazing at some fashion hullabaloo.


    Then i saw a cute photo op of her and some rando BG, i think it's Enhypen, but tbh it doesnt even matter which one.


    Because Kpop stylists (or maybe BG fandoms themselves) INSIST ON MAKING THEM ALL LOOK LIKE EFFING CLONES. There were 7 male idols here and 6 of them had the exact same tired musty worn out middle part. This haircut has been EXACTLY THE SAME FOR SIX STRAIGHT YEARS AT LEAST since i saw it in 2019 when i first started getting into Kpop.


    Arent BG fans getting tired of this? As a GG fan, it's utterly unimaginable. Female idols can have long straight hair, curly hair, bobs, wolfcuts, middle parts, side parts, wavy hair, bangs or no bangs, etc.

    Sure it's a bit boring, but it's also really hard to look bad with that hairstyle. So I guess it's just always a safe and easy option. It's kind of a classic male hairstyle that can't go wrong.


    Personally I don't really have a problem with not being entertained by my faves hair so I'm good anyways.
