kpop is becoming less melodic nowadays .... if you want to see some cool dance routines, why not just tune in to World Of Dance?

Go back to live vocals with no dancing? You can't go back to something you never had outside of a few select artists. Kpop's always been about putting on an overall show, even at the expense of vocals.

Post-pandemic kpop is all about what you just said .... pre-pandemic kpop is something else

You need to stan groups that do both well. Nmixx is the best group when it comes to performances. They're such a talented group and deserve praise.

Also, groups like Idle, Itzy, NewJeans, and Le Sserafim usually perform with the mic on and have good choreography.
