The song is too soft and repetitive. repeat of I am a rich man alot is kinda annoying. Too many rap/rap talk which is not aespa strong points. No bridge and not alot of singing which is ironic because these are are aespa strong point. Also, missing one or 2 belting high notes which is aespa signature style.

It is like the producers took a look at aespa talents and traits and flipped them around. Let's make a song as repetitive and boring as possible and don't show our singing skills instead our boring talk rap.

I don't think many aespa fans will like this and that may include casual listeners too. This song may end up like dirty work on the charts which is not a completed flop but kinda bad for aespa standard.

rich man is fine, could have been better. it's a bit too repetitive, not enough singing and lacks variation to be 'great'.

now i thought karina's solo was a total BANGER! dare i say even better than UP?!! it's soooooo good!

and damn, ninging i literally ascended with her song intro ! absolutely beautiful!

i'm also intriged by the other solos, but i haven't listened to them yet fully.

on a side note, i feel like Count on me is gonna be my favorie song. And Drift live performance was such a slayage as well!

Yea. I mean, the song is okay but it lacks variety due the things I listed in my previous post.

I am being critical here. The song could have been much better if they keep the bridge from the demo and replace some talk rap with singing, and stop repeating I am a rich man every damn time. although I don't think it's bad in a few line like in the preview, but it is super annoying if I keep hearing it every damn second.

Also, since the whole aesthetic is rock, why not include more electric guitar in the background like the demo?

This demo is not that bad beside some talk singing/rap and it has a lot of singing even though it is 2 minutes compare to aespa version. In my opinion, this sound alot more interesting and give more of a rock vibe than aespa version although it is a bit rough.

Look at Supernova and Whiplash, which appear going softer and different compare to Drama and armageddon but totally retain the singing and high notes unlike Rich man.

Like I said, SM producers are something else.

i get what you mean, the vocal lines in the demo are pretty good, loved the guitar too, but i guess aespa is trying to be trendy plus build a more hip hop sound maybe? i think it's a bit closer to their musical idenity i guess and they don't wanna switch it too much in their title track maybe to avoid confusion i don't know...

I still like the song, it's pretty cunty and catchy too.
