One time, some few years ago, I was at a gas station, and wanted to buy an egg waffle.
And then the cashier told me that the egg waffle was going to take longer than usual (can't remember why.)
Then she told me that I could get myself a hot drink for free and then sit down and wait for the waffle to be ready.
I got myself hot cocoa, and I felt as if it was unfair that I got that hot cocoa for free. (even though I didn't say anything.)
Like I guess I was thinking "It is unfair that I'm getting mine for free, while the other customers have to pay for theirs"
But no, this wasn't me being unfairly treated.
Like the hot cocoa was cheap.
This only happened one time.
And the free cocoa was an "apology" for the egg waffle perhaps taking longer than usual. (or I don't know how to explain or phrase it)
