Last year, KPop was seriously hurt by the invasion of APT., which no KPop acts could stop.
And this year, with no major hits whatsoever, Golden by Huntr/x has descended over KPop like a bunch of alien ships over the earth, with no recourse by anyone.
Golden showed the bankruptcy of KPop to the entire world, something which won't be forgotten.
KPop has not had new major stars for a while, and the MHJ fiasco probably extinguished the last hope as none of the 4th and 4.5th gen acts have shown any promise of outdoing the 3rd gen.
And none of them has proven capable of winning against virtual idols promoted through Netflix.
I think that is the end of KPop for all practical purposes.
