Why are thirst threads allowed?

The reason why there isn't an 18+ section is that there are a lot of teenagers on the forum.
I'm unsure what a thirst thread is but we believe all users are entitled to their opinions (even the unpopular opinion). As long as the response stays on topic and you're not attacking another user, we don't see an issue. -

If the reason why the 18+ section is not allowed is bc of the teenagers, then thirst threads aren't a big deal then.

I don't care for thrist threads the way they usually are done. If you want to say they are good looking or cute or your body type, coolio. But the way some of the threads get overtly sexual makes me uncomfy. I am 23 and have taught safe sex practices, and it makes me uncomfy. That should say something

There isn't any point in not having a contained section for it and saying the reason is teenagers if you allow them to be spread throughout the whole forum anyways
I personally don't have an issue with those types of threads but I can see why op would be uncomfortable with some of the raunchier titled threads
