Out of Hybe's 4.5 gen boy groups, who do you think will achieve the greatest success?

    Hybe will probably give up making girl groups, now Katseye is doing well. Source will introduce the successor to Le Sserafim, which will probably be the only new GG from there, and I think Illit, having served its purpose of driving MHJ out from Hybe, will probably be stuck in Japan for rest of its career, probably getting rid of Yunah, who being a big burden cannot be hidden anymore, and adding somebody from Hybe Japan, or whatever it is called now, with Moka being made the leader. Minju could leave or accept the reality.


    That aside, Hybe now has two newer gen acts, TWS and BoyzNextDoor.


    Big Hit will debut a boy group in Aug, and Ador will debut somebody next year. It seems some people who worked with MHJ but did not follow her after the ouster will help the new Ador BG.


    And since Enhypen was selected in 2020, it would be time to select its successor in probably next year, a bit after the new Ador BG is announced.


    Unlike SM, which always had a 'main' act (H.O.T. , TVXQ, EXO, NCT 127, etc) and all the other acts, like Shinhwa and Shinee, being treated as secondary acts, Hybe does not put favoritism over one act. Enhypen is arguably doing better than txt.


    Which do you think will achieve the greatest success?


    Given that TWS and BND showed limited success, and Big Hit's new act would be made in the image of txt, not BTS,


    I would bet that the new Ador boy group will have the greatest success.


    It would be made in MHJ's image but not MHJ's control, and since Shinee was influenced by MHJ greatly, it would have the feel of Shinee.


    It would offer something 'different' in the sea of boy groups.

    BigHit would seem the natural choice, as I can't tell the difference much between TWS and BND.


    I agree with ILLIT having already served its purpose, as BSH has barely been seen with them that lately, as Katseye is flavour of the month, a he's gone back to default with LSF.


    There were words that LSF was his concept group, until he debut his true GG at SouMus, last year, but such words have been lost amongst the MHJ/HYBE drama. I think the words were in some Kakao messages...? 🤔


    I think ADOR's BG looks interesting, but they're built on what remains of MHJ's concepts at ADOR. Aknce those concepts have been used up, I'll be interested to see how they go further, but alo what sound they have.

    BH's new boy group, I've already seen those ahjumma stans on Twitter thirsting and drooling over them, which is honestly disgusting. But no one’s gonna talk about it because it’s a boy group, and in Kpop, women kinda get a free pass for being weird fans or stanning minors or guys way younger than them.
