Ahn Sung-il, CEO of content production company The Givers, who was sued by girl group FIFTY FIFTY's member Keena for alleged forgery and use of forged private documents, was recently cleared of the charges by the police.

The Givers announced on the 29th that the Seoul Gangnam Police Station recently decided not to refer the case for prosecution, ruling "no charges" due to "insufficient evidence to prove a crime."

Keena had filed a lawsuit against CEO Ahn last year, claiming that her signature was used without consent on copyright registration documents for FIFTY FIFTY's global hit song "Cupid."

The Givers stated, "The police found it reasonable to believe that Keena had given broad authorization to CEO Ahn, considering that The Givers had signed a service contract with ATTRAKT and was recognized as having overseen various administrative duties related to FIFTY FIFTY's music activities."

    1. But they say it was done without the consent of the parties involved ㅡㅡ

    2. ?? Is this really something that just ends with no indictment, without even going to court?

    3. If we're gonna act like that, how are we gonna live our lives trusting anything?

    4. Now I understand why Keena has PTSD...

    5. ???

    6. Gangnam Police Station seems like the next place that should disappear after the judicial reform...

    7. As expected from the Gangnam Police Station.ㅋ

    8. Hul then we can forget about getting any form of protection if things like this happens again in the future

    9. Gangnam Police Station again?

    10. As expected from Gangnam Police Station..

  • Forgery is hard to prove unless you have solid evidence like a videos of them doing so. It’s really difficult. What's more interesting for me here is, the fact that the Attrakt Ceo knows the company is allowed to use their idols’ signatures but didn’t even bother to inform Keena. This just shows that the support they gave her was all for show. I guess it's part of convincing her to come back to Attrakt and doing so will prove he's also guilty by adding that clause in the first place. Yeah, ASI isn’t innocent, and I do believe he forged her signature, but damn the Attrakt ceo isn’t just stupid and hated by his idols, he’s also manipulative as hell. He’s no better than ASI. Both are trash.
