The reason Hyunjin shaved his head is probably to show that fans he is completely free. I knew how obsessed kpop fans are, so I assumed he didn't want to deal with it. They can't even compliment dance of female dancer. Kpop fandoms wasn't this toxic in past generation. Of course, there are fans who only listen for the talent and music, but unfortunately the kpop industry feeds off this toxicity.
I agree, sure we had the Dalshabet drama, fist fights at DREAM concerts in 1st/2nd generation and the SNSD vs 2NE1 fandom wars but like this generation of new K-Pop fans is something else. NEVER has there been so many "controversies" about things that are not serious things like abuse allegations or racism, as there has been this era.
I keep forgetting you have been around the scene as long as I have. -
