Movies that many people hate, but you like (and vice versa)

  • I know that many people don't like that one Lady and the Tramp sequel, but I actually prefer that one over the original Lady and the Tramp.

But I feel like I like that movie because of nostalgia. (and the only scene that I had seen of the original, when I was a child, was the Bella Notte scene)

I also like Tim Burton's version of Chalie and The Chocolate Factory.

But I haven't watched the version with Gene Wilder. (and I know that some people prefer that one)

For movies that many people seem to like, but I don't like, is probably Taken.

Or it was more like some classmates of mine saying "Taken is such a good movie".

But when I watched it, I was thinking "Nah, it's not good."

Well... this was back when I was a teenager. I perhaps would feel different about that movie, if I rewatched it.

  • the mulan sequel

i still quote it to this day :meme-trying-not-to-laugh:

I used to like that one a lot when I was younger.

But well... when I watched Xiran Jay Zhao's video, where they talked about that movie, I kinda saw that movie in a different light. Even though "still better than the live-action remake".

that and the cinderella sequels too

Been a long time ago since I watched Cinderella 2, but I remember liking the part with Anastasia and the baker. (I remember having a picture book, which was about that part)

I remember kinda liking Cinderella 3. And I still like that one song called "I Still Believe".

  • Okay, don’t hate me for this but I actually liked some of Monami Ghosh’s early films that most people brush off. Maybe I’m just biased because of all the Melbet ambassador rumors swirling around lately but I’ve been rewatching her stuff lately.

  • I have a series in mind but this is about movies, but id go with toy story 4, its not a favourite of mine, but I really enjoyed the animation and it still had that emotional pixar punch to it

I get it, she’s magnetic even in those early roles. And now Monami Ghosh is officially the face of Melbet. She keeps winning on and off screen https://www.prnewswire.com/in/…ambassador-302501481.html.
