Idol with Polish name debuted! what on earth!

    new girl group: ifeye

    leader name: KASIA


    that's a nice connection! KASIA is short of Katarzyna (in eng Catherine) and it's very popular female name in Poland,

    so it took me by surprise that KPOP Idol used it as stage name!

    There was actually a girl group named Kassia, or 카시아 (so same Hangul as the Kasia here). They debuted in 2011, but didn't survive past that year.

    It does fit her though, she seems to be quite cheerful and cute.


    I would honestly like to know how did they come up with this stage name and who chose it, it's so strange to see it. Maybe she knows someone from Poland, knew the name and liked it? Perhaps we will find out in the future in some interview.
