Idol with Polish name debuted! what on earth!

How the heck did I guess "Kasia" correctly when I saw the title of this thread? (and no, I didn't know that there was a member by that name in that group)

There was actually a girl group named Kassia, or 카시아 (so same Hangul as the Kasia here). They debuted in 2011, but didn't survive past that year.

According to KProfiles: "The group’s name derived fr‍om kasia, which means “br‍ight and pure” in Polish".

I know, I was so shocked too

It does fit her though, she seems to be quite cheerful and cute.

I would honestly like to know how did they come up with this stage name and who chose it, it's so strange to see it. Maybe she knows someone from Poland, knew the name and liked it? Perhaps we will find out in the future in some interview.
