It was beautiful watching live streams as the verdict was read and pro-Yoon people started crying and blubbering.

Then you will get a sense of proportion, that whatever is happening in S.K is not that big a deal, though being to K-pop/k-drama makes folks more emotionally invested. Most of it is just news cycles, constantly digging up things for eyeballs.
The actual substance of all cases, passing through the courts, tend to be far less sensational, but they take time.
So enjoy the good, mostly ignore or at least delay reacting to the negative - very little of the negativity actually have substance.

Yes, I saw some of that and it was glorious.
Also, I saw some Koreans being ashamed of it, but I think it speaks very highly of South Korea's democracy and democracy loving people that they stopped him.
