Most movies that are adapted from books are shit, to be honest.

Perhaps "Agnes Grey" by Anne Brontë (as far as I know, it doesn't have any)

Well... if someone made a movie adaptation of Sayaka Murata's "Convenience Store Woman", Kate DiCamillo's "The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane" and Melissa See's "You, Me and Our Heartstrings", I would probably watch them.
