The only 4th Gen girl group from a minor company who won #1 in from a major music show is CSR on Dec 2022. (Qwer is not even from a company, a pet project of a youtube influencer.)
However, the door for nugu 4th boy groups seem to be wider.
In Music Bank, earlier this year, Evnne wont .
And last two weeks, nugu boy groups won back to back.
I have not seen too much mention of Vanner and The Wind at akp.
I don't know what they did to win #1s, but given that there are virtually no discussions of them at here, it is probable that they do not have any foreign following to speak of.
Plave won at Music Core but at least it does have a real following, mostly by women in their 30s who have seen and done it all about real boy idols and settled for a virtual act who will never have scandals or get engaged in strange antics.
But, Evnne, Vanner and The Wind?
KPop is in clear decline and now acts not too many people have heard about before are having the time of their life. It is clearly in a steep decline, with little chance for a recovery.
