Why BTS Suga is still my favourite

So I typed into Google ‘BTS Suga is my favourite BTS member’ and much to my amusement, an old thread of mine popped up in the Google search:

Suga is my favourite k-pop artist.

This is it.
I have genuine respect for this man. He is dedicated to craft, and his lyrics are heart touching. Even if you don't understand what he is saying, his voice alone compels you to search the lyrics. And this is very hard for a foreign artist to do. Not many artists can make people search for their lyrics translation, by speaking/rapping alone.
I never found kpop rapping appealing, and its partly because rapping doesn't have much melody. But Suga...he is different.

I have realised that me and Suga share many personality traits. In public I can be aloof and not open up to people too quickly (or I go in the opposite direction too fast 😅)

Introverted, introspective, would rather write about feelings than tell them to other people. But honest when asked about them.

But I swear….we have a friendly and warm side. Give us some time. Loool

I think the thing that struck me about Suga. Is that he simply isn’t afraid of being himself. He doesn’t go out of his way to be super extroverted and

J-hopesque, or maknae line crazy. And I really appreciate that.

Introverts are often pressured to act all jolly and talkative in public, when in actuality they would rather be a listener.

Suga fits that category, and he doesn’t pretend.

Also his songs, his lyrics, all amazing!!! ❤️

Ps: dare I say…..If Suga was a woman he wouldn’t get away with it very easily. People are more forgiving towards men when they are apparently ‘cold’ and ‘Aloof’
