Thank you! You’re awesome for this. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to you, too. I’ve been celebrating it since I was a kid, but the festivities have been simplified to appreciating a mooncake and observing the moon as I got older. I wish I could attend a festival or something of that sort. The lanterns are nice to look at.
I suppose it’s mid-autumn in Asia, but here in the U.S., we’re only just about to begin fall. The weather’s been getting cooler, which I like! It’s a nice feeling overall.
I’ll make sure to enjoy a mooncake with some tea. I hope you do, too!

My moon watching essential are some moon cake, good tea, and some Chinese music - usually Teresa Teng for my parents or just erhu instrumentals.
I really miss autumn in the US - the cooling of the weather, autumn colors and I had such wonderful childhood memories of the season from Halloween to Thanksgiving too. Not the taking of leaves tho but have to say still better than shoveling snow or de-icing driveways and sidewalks lol
But I can’t deal with harsh winters hence I am back in tropical SE Asia. Durian moon cake is popular here but I don’t like it lol
