  • I LUV how cappella works so well for them! It shifts the focus back to the catchiness of the vocal melody and harmonies. “Sickuhh” sounds like they did drill!! Very unexpected from them! “Right Light Sign, But We Go” is very catchy, they way they ended the song was very memorable too.

See That?” Sounds good with “Moving On”. The biggest and real challenge is getting the right producers to interpret the songs in a way does both versions justice.

  • Btw, Sickuhhh sound way better in Acapella. I dont understand this damn company :meme-sobbing:

You were right! I heard and wondered how NMIXX team overlooked how better it sounds.

It’s common knowledge it’s DEMJOINTZ’s strength to sing rap over his beats. For example, his GG trinity showcases this:

Just rapping over the beat is way too conventional even for NMIXX. I don’t get how they they did the highlight version and no light bulbs went off.

Compare the album version with the nMIXX vocal version..the beat is way better when their vocals sonically paint the beat like a canvas..it hits way better.

  • At this point i would expect that fucking company understand what the strengths and weaknesses of the group are. I thought they understood that in the previous album. A guess not. Sometimes i forgot how mediocre is JYP, lol.

  • Release an entire acapella album at this point. It's so good. Love so lonely sounds angelic.

I look forward to the a capellas more than the actual studio interpretation of the songs at this point. Yeah, they can just release their studio versions of the songs and then the full-length nMIXX a capellas right behind those tracks.

It will never work, no one is interested in it. If a cappella was popular, the charts would be filled with it, but it doesn't, it sounds cool because it's rare in K-pop.

If they cannot sell it directly, they can give it away to the people who buy a certain edition of the album. My hunch is that listeners can make better remixes than what is available.

Spending a lot of time and effort to record an a cappella album and sell 100 thousand copies seems like a huge loss. Making some kind of remix is much easier and more profitable, everyone does it, like, for example, the English version of the album, but it is very rare to see, for example, a live version of the tracks.

  • Now that I’ve thought about it, they should go ahead and release the a capella tracks as a part of the next album. Since NMIXX is an experimental group anyway, we can run an experiment to see if the streamed a capellas have more staying power and listeners can also remix those vocals too. If the emphasis is on the melody, maybe it can have a similar long-term effect like Day6 with their slow burning heat.
