Now I'm wondering, which other, non-female soloist artists have cancelled their North American tours this year?

I'm a bit skeptical that it's about her recent scandal in her dating life, which a lot of the online crowd will say just for confirmation bias. I've her her tickets were relatively expensive, in a down economic market, and she's never had a huge presence in the US anyway. This combination seems more likely to me.

I had a similar situation like that when a friend grabbed my neck jokingly. The absolute terror that I felt was primal and I smacked the hell out of him including dragging my nails through his face. It was a purely instinctive response, but I could tell that I was aiming to hurt him (aiming nails at eyes) to get away from the situation by any means.
