That means believing in them to the point of worship. Unless you think reading that other holy book will convert you.

If you believe in God and the bible then you also believe that there is nothing more despicable and evil than false religion. Would willingly and for fun reading something that God views as evil be 'hating' it?

This is about being I false religion the context notice it mentions 'touch no unclean thing' wouldn't the books of other religion in this context be considered unclean?
I have a bunch more verses I could share but to me? It's absolutely wrong as a Christian to allow such poison into your mind. (My opinion)
