Have you ever felt disappointed by a kpop music video?

    I mean, where you might have expected something from an upcoming kpop music video, but you were left disappointed for some reason when it came out.



    I remember that before the music video for the Japanese version of ATEEZ's "Rocky" was released I expected some cool scenes, like maybe the members punching some punching bags, having a boxing match or something.

    But instead, I only got this, which felt a bit too boring in comparison to what I was imagining in my head. (but I don't hate it)

    I think this was a "me problem" and I was expecting too much from the music video. Like if a person has too high expectations, they might end up disappointed.
    But some of the things that I expected from this music video are things that I ended up seeing in some later ATEEZ music videos, like "Limitless" and "Bouncy".



    And then there is 2EYES' "Pippi"...

    As someone, who grew up with Pippi stuff, I expected good stuff from this.

    But I was left disappointed and also offended.

    I couldn't really think of anything at first but I guess for me it's also a Twice song:

    I like the song but a few things bug me about the MV:
    - I generally don't like "social media" scenes in MVs because it will eventually be outdated and look silly (it already does in my opinion)
    - I thought the new little characters were so freaking cute, but they didn't get any story line in the MV except for being mood indicators. In contrast, the Lovelies got some lore in the BDZ MV. So, it felt like they didn't have a purpose.
    - And since the MV is almost only a performance MV, I don't think extra characters were needed at all.

    Btw, the Pippi MV you added really is an affront to Pippi!

    "Hare Hare" (from Japanese 晴れ, meaning 'clear weather'). Those two characters are the weather fairies CHEONSA천사 (Angel)


    The song is about after the storm, the sun will shine; for every problem, there is a solution.
