See, MVs should be tagged as Music video and so, chart in the Global Daily Music video chart.
If you try to cheat the filtering system by using non-music tags, your video is not considered a Music Video by YouTube.

theres no category cheat. youtube already clarified categories don't affect views. lisa - rockstar is trending #1 on youtube for music so clearly youtube does recognise it as a music video. also hylt was in the music category at the very start when it got 96M in 24hrs proving thats not how bp gets views. this theory was debunked a long time ago

youtube themselves cleared bp's name. yes they announced changes to their charts to make things fairer and exclude ad views from their charts after 9/17/19. all bp MVs continued to chart high on their charts and appear on their official youtube records charts that exclude ad views. there was no difference in their view counter and official chart numbers (unlike the artists who actually used ads) proving that there was no views gained from ads.

kpop idols used ads to inflate their views, blackpink doesn't since that year or around that. Blackpink performances on youtube chart have been steady to this day.
You refuse to see the fact the account is brand new, still making mistakes such as their team voices can be heard during livestream, mv re-upload with different links, and it has more than 4 million likes right now.
This mistake can easily be fixed without people jumping the gun to accuse them of dirty tactics. If it has less views in youtube chart then it cna be said how they used ads, but it's not even in the chart, so yeah her team need to fix this.

I saw a few people talking about tagging the video as different things like Music or People & Blogs but that wasn't what I had in mind, I just assumed that in order to correctly distinguish between official music videos and content that just uses a song, YouTube would have some sort of classification system. The other option, I suppose, is that YouTube made the error, and the video got flagged for review because it racked up so many new views and subscribers on a channel made this year. But even still, Lisa's team should be able to quickly correct that. Someone else brought up a thread from another subreddit talking about categorising videos to generate higher ad revenue, which 😂 yeah YouTube's famously transparent ad revenue system, and it definitely makes sense that a record label would throw thousands of chart-contributing views down the toilet for extra dollars. this is true. the only confirmation we had about bp using ads was when youtube decided to filter ads views for the 24 hour record. it was stated on some news article. and after that blackpink released HYLT that broke the record and was confirmed by youtube. so enough about ads.
this song wont perform that well on the charts in the long run. maybe the title song if it's like like crazy.
