(Actually Nap III was found to have nothing to do with the Bonapartes by a genetic study, but that is another tale.)
This ended France as a continental power once for all, and from that point USA had to bail out France from any trouble it got into, and USA finally stopped bailing France out in Vietnam, when the French garrison at Dien Bien Phu was defeated by the Viet Minh forces led by Vo Nguyen Giap.

This was the height of KPop's power.
Although the Koreans continued to complain, and those (I cannot use my favorite adjective anymore) tho failed arithmetic at grade school still argued that BTS should attend the military, they actually advanced to the White House and was named the cultural master of the entire world.
The only people who did NOT appreciate this were the Korean males, who elected a then 1,343 years old as the most watched person in youtube Korea.
I have said quite a few times that BTS should have shown a middle finger to the Koreans , let them cherish Lim Youngwoong and the singer in her 1340s, and continue to the rule the rest of the world except Korea.
Korea only consisted maybe 5% of BTS' views, and as subsequent polls showed, the Koreans moved on to New Jeans, and given the way things are, the 1,345 years old will probably be elected as the #1 singer again in this December.
However, the former owner of Edam Entertainment will never enter the White House, even if she gets to live another 1,345 years from now.
Also, BTS betrayed the world fans, bu choosing to fulfil the obligation with the Koreans instead of the world fans who didn't see them for 3 years from 2019, and the 1,345 years old reached London faster than them!
KPop's halcyon days, when the world trembled at the sight of BTS and BlackPink and Twice, is now oeve, thanks to the choices the Koreans made. They supported Lim Youngwoong and someone in their 1340s, so they will get these, not the Kpop giants.
