YG stays still... HYBE who can't live, JYP who overdoes it [X's focus]

YG became the final ‘winner’ due to the ‘live controversy’ raised by Le Seraphim. Hive still hasn't recovered its image, and JYP, who overdid it, is receiving a cold response. In April, Le Seraphim performed twice at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States. Le Seraphim attracted attention by entering Coachella in the shortest period of time since their debut, but their performance only created controversy over their skills.
On stage, Le Seraphim caused disappointment due to unstable pitch and poor vocalization. Their images were broadcast online without any modification, and as they were naturally made into short videos, they received harsh criticism.
In addition, Illit, who made her debut in March, also caused disappointment by showing her poor skills during her encore stage. Both Le Seraphim and Illit are members of HYBE, and as they were a group created in a short period of time, there was continued evaluation that they were not ready.
Thanks to this controversy, many groups were brought into the spotlight again. Favorable reviews poured in as interest continued for performances by Baby Monster, who newly debuted from YG, Nmixx, who is from JYP but has yet to show its potential, as well as Kiss of Life, Stay C, etc.
In particular, Baby Monster has not been able to achieve remarkable results since its debut last year, and announced its 'official debut' this year with the joining of member Ahyeon. YG naturally smiled as they received attention for their solid skills at the most important time.
The same was true for Nmixx, but they only created an embarrassing situation when they staged a sound accident at a recent university festival to emphasize their live skills. Even though the MR was cut off during the stage, the members naturally continued their performance and received favorable reviews, but it was later revealed that this was an event-related sound accident prepared in advance by the agency. Although an explanation was provided, saying, “The members did not know,” the response was that it was difficult to understand the agency’s over-the-top strategy.
In the end, YG, which had stayed quiet, became the final winner amidst the 'controversy over girl group skills'. Baby Monster didn't have the best results among prominent girl groups, but they did well. HYBE still couldn't erase Le Seraphim and Illit's 'insufficient skills' from the minds of K-pop fans, and JYP left only a negative mark on Nmixx, which was showing step-by-step growth.
