kpop is peak of popularity all around the world nobody knowns how long this popularity lasts all kpop top groups enjoy internatiinal fame within their niche fandom album sales,views & streams everything increased rapidly but exo inactiveness during this period greatly effect them exo was pretty popular at the time kpop was not well known after bts become main stream around the kpop was getting bigger at this time pretty much inactive if exo was comeback regularly like before they popular like bts & blackpink

Girl you can never predict anything. TWICE was having regular comebacks and they got fucked and fell far behind everyone else after being #1 or #2 in so many aspects. JYPE as a company is complete dog shit and so is SM. EXO had no guarantee because even if they were doing well, they could suddenly decline or fall behind if the lime light fails to shine on them and SM being SM would've ruined, damaged, or erased their careers anyways. It was a done deal for EXO tbh. Best not to think about "What could have been" and rather "What happened".

Sometimes, I think about this a lot. When KPOP blew up in West, EXO were inactive due to military enlistment and whatnot. It's alright though, EXO are doing amazing. They have nothing to prove to anyone. They already are legends and ultimate juggernauts in KPOP. It's all good.
