It's a shame after how much impact BTS has had on the lives of so many people (fans and non-fans alike).

Which is why I have said several times that BTS should have ditched Korea and domicile themselves in some other place to continue its domination.

Koreans revering IU over BTS was what caused the end of BTS.

BTS have 6 HOT 100 #1s though. I guess you didn't count Savage Love Remix....

Ah so I guess they are not counting remixes. Cuz they have also always said that BTS have 6 HOT 100 #1 debuts. And since the original 'Savage Love' didn't go #1 till BTS remix was released, they didn't count it as #1 debut.
