I will now settle the 3rd Generation Girl Group hierarchy once and for all

I’d love to see a 4th gen map of this.
-
I mean, it was only 2017. I don't know if they were even a year old when this was made.
It's funny, because I argued with Blinks back then and told them BlackPink will dominate in the future, but they're not at the top yet, and then Korean Netizens dropped this map and then Yes I Am vs. As If It's Your Last happened.
I think it's fairly accurate for the timeframe

I guess bp international stats back then itself was bigger than most except BTS. And aiiyl ended up being bigger in sk too.
But I understand. Bp still had no album out. No physical sales, only one song release in 2017. YG really such a crap company.

Yes, this was strictly from the perspective of Koreans and their view of girl group popularity in their country.
International statistics weren't nearly as talked about in 2017 as they are today. It was already considered huge just to see BTS perform at the AMAs, and Psy was still the biggest K-Pop star in the world.
YG not having physical albums for BP until the third year of their careers was criminal too.
-
Lovelyz was considered bigger than both WJSN and OMG back then, they released a hit (Ah-Choo) in 2015. One hit wonder but OMG and WJSN haven't really proved too much those years.
If I recall correctly this map was out even before AIIYL was out so BP's situation is just like that because they were around for too little time.
