But honestly, if you think about how you're spending half of your day at work, life is indeed not fun. How many people do work they love and find fulfilling? To be honest, most jobs are paid and it's seriously hopeless how you're spending half of your life doing something you don't like

Their work-life balance must be amazing working 9 to 5

The reason for 9-5 is because there's no lunch break or legal break time. Most of the workers would eat something quick at the cafeteria (20 min~?) and then go back. Usually, they would arrive at work at around 7:30 and leave at 4:30 (the ajaes in their mid-40's would come in before 7 and leave at 4. Maybe to pick up kids?) and those who work from home come in in the morning or afternoon when they have meetings and work from home the rest of the day. Sometimes, there are team dinners that last 1 hour and they all eat together but most of the people would block their schedule from 12-1 to eat... When I was fresh out of college and just starting out in the workforce, it was hard to realize that I was going to have to live like this for the next 30+ years with no vacations. I'm a millennial, but I can relateㅋㅋㅋ Everyone who gain prosperity forget their early days..ㅋㅋㅋ

  • as someone in mid 30's when I remember how it was back in the day for me when I started my first work I can relate to woman tho

school in Poland well if you are good, and know when to go and when to skip, or when to go home 2-3 hours earlier than your schedule, you can still have good, even top grades, and we ain't country like the others where kids have 100% attendance for whole year

meanwhile I remember when it hit me that now I needed to work 8 hours daily from monday to friday

and then attend university for friday afternoon, and from 8AM to 8PM on saturday and sunday

there were not worse time in my life that this time...

and even later on when I needed just to work those 8 hours from monday to friday when added time to commute from home to work I felt like I've just wasted near 10 hours of my life :cursing:
