Ador/Hybe is doing everything great for newjeans but they are seriously lacking in one department

Go look at their schedule. This came up in conversation on Reddit last week, and NewJeans are absolutely booked out for the rest of the year between their events, brand deals, individual schedules (Haerin was just in Hong Kong).

It's already been reported that the BBMAs had to fight hard to get NewJeans to record a performance for them, and even that was pre recorded in Korea.

If you take one look at their schedule, it's pretty obvious why the variety has taken a backseat. I'm sure we'll get more of it in 2024.

In the meantime, they at least make frequent calls on their Phoning app while they're in between comebacks, which is literally hours and hours of the members vibing with fans.

I personally would LOVE to see more variety content, but not at the expense of their having time to breathe and not be in front of a camera during their time off from their loaded schedules.

LSF is definitely the standard when it comes to variety content. On that we agree.

Ador should hire better producers for these contents. Especially since they don't send newjeans to that many 3rd party variety shows so their domestic content should be atleast compensating for that.

True. MHJ is sheltering them. When you've got a good thing going as the #2 act in Korea, you dont need any more promo, and everything new/different/unpredictable ends up being a risk. It's like why bother sending them to variety shows or doing anything different when you're already riding on Cloud Nine...the risk/reward just isnt there.

Did you know BTS once had fansigns? I'm sure they were very fun for fans too, but after a certain point, those were no longer needed.
