(you need to filter the time period to one week and sort by view count)
Every year, around this time of year, most 18 years old in Korea (and sometimes older) who are looking to enter universities take the University Entrance Test.
It is customary for some idols, usually the more popular ones, to record a cheering video for the test takers, although in many cases the idols don't bother taking the exams themselves since they don't need a univ degree.
I did not check numbers for previous years.
This cheering video by BTS, made last year, had 2.6 million views but that might be because it would be one of the last videos to see all 7 at once for quite a long time.
This year, the following idols had more than 30,000 views of such cheering videos.
New Jeans 170k
IU 163K
Seventeen 109k
Astro 91k
Le Sserafim 83k
IVE 80k
Ateez 44k
ZB1 42k
NMixx 35k
Monsta X 33k
Plave 31k
I will cut it off at here.
NewJeans was proven to be the most popular among the 18 years old wo take the test.
However, it s remarkable that a 2nd generation figure, who debuted when the majority of people taking the test were around 3 years old, still in the running.
And it is also amazing that at least in Korea, she is more popular than everyone else other than NewJeans.
Also it is remarkable than SVT, who debuted in 2015 I think and is a bit older than the rest, outranking every other boy group who did this.
