is a win for kpop overall. While their title tracks haven’t always resonated with all of us, most reasonable people can agree that they have served so much awesome musical art during their near decade career together.

We used to live in a generation where girlgroups barely survived the 7 year curse.

It’s a sign that the tides have really turned, and girlgroups like SNSD, RV, TWICE & Blackpink have changed the course of history.

I just hope this pattern continues and many other girlgroups can last over a decade if they want too (not just big four girlgroups).

Girlgroups used to rely on digital charts only in the past and their idol careers were very limited, now their physical sales are competing with the biggest boygroups.

Also I personally enjoyed this RV comeback and album so much. It kind of restored some of my love for kpop. I’ve been kind of disconnected with it lately. Thank you RV!! 🙏

Some real thought went into producing it, it's nowhere near your average run of the mill 2.5 minute vamp masquerading as a complete song. It's not the same banal trap beat mixed with the same banal autotuned vocals with the same simplistic song structures. This song seems to have multiple verses within a verse, multiple prechoruses within a prechorus, multiple choruses within a chorus, and then a multipart bridge as well.

Facts.

The entire album is full of great music, just real structured music and not some diluted TikTok crap. I love Red Velvet and the role they fulfill in the industry. Instead of following trends, they’re making them while being loyal to their signature musical sound and identity.
