Europeans do you agree or disagree with this map?

What's there to disagree with
-
yeah that's a point
do you consider all countries as central
or you think of some as 'eastern'
-
this is map which suggests which countries are part of Central Europe
I think the creator just focused on that, not on islands
also Benelux is west Europe for sure!
I was mostly intrigued here if Germans consider themselves as central or west Europeans
same with Swiss people
and also do they consider people from Poland, Czechia and Slovakia as central Europeans or do they think we are east Europeans

We do not really say central Europe, but our timezone is named CET, We mostly consider Europe as North, West and East, we know Italy is south but we barly even say that since it sounds weird to us to have only 1 south European country, since other places like Cyprus, Greece, Albania,... are South-East for us.
If we do say middle of Europe, than we consider us and our neighboring countries (Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic)
Also for countries like Turkey or Russia who are in Europe and Asia, we also do not really say Eurasia, we mostly just reffer to what region of the country you are in, like for example "I was in Turkey. I visited the Asian side of Istanbul" for example, but most people would not do this and just say "I was in Ankara" and not "I was on the Asian side of Turky, visiting Ankara" It's also odd for us if you would talk to a Russian or Turkish person and ask them if they are Europeans or Asians. I'm not sure if we have a term for Turkish people other than calling them Turkish but for Russians you would call them a Slavik person but most people don't do this cause we just would say that someone is Russian. It does get more simplified if you would talk to let's say someone who is from Israel or Saudi Arabia cause than people just say the person is Arabic. Same goes to people that you would call Persian and so on.
Also outside of Europe you would sometimes reffer to everyone from America (not the country) as an American, but often people preffer to just say the country in case you could confuse someone. I mean sure a Mexican is also an American person but if you can't think outside the box than it would be harder to understand when someone tells you they are Asian and you be like "yeah the continent sure" but if they say "I'm American" you would confuse this maybe and think they mean the USA. It gets more easy to understand when you (as a non American, not the continent, nor the country) would just say that you talk about an Ami, wich makes it easier to tell someone you mean an American person who lives in the USA, altho depending on your sentense some people may think you would use Ami to say something negative like "Die Amis sind doch alle dumm" ( trans: the americans are all stupid) or "Die Amis machen das doch immer so" (trans: The Americans allways do it like that) wich could sound to someone quit downgrading in some cases
Also for the south-east European countries that boarder an ocean, we call that region often the Balkan while places like Italy can be Metierranean for us. North European countries are Skandinavia and so on. And literally everyone from the British region is a British person to us altho we often say for people from England that they are an English person.
Some terms:
Skandinavien ( North Europe) - Scandinavia
Skandinaviar - Scandinavian person
Balkan (South East Europe) - Balkan
Meittelmeerraum (South Europe) - Mediterranean region
Slawische Region - Slavik region
Slawen - Slavik people
Brite - British person
Groß Britanien - Great Britain
I hope this helps
-
Skandinavien ( North Europe) - Scandinavia
It is also important to remember Scandinavia is not synonym for North Europe. Scandinavia only mean Denmark, Sweden and Norway
While North Europe is Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
