I think that's what it cost me to start moving away from here for a while.. Black Friday (This year Nov 24th) is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the US and it symbolizes the start of the shopping season for Americans. It's become a tradition here for shops to slash prices for 24 hours (or longer, their choice) to encourage buying and the wonderful consumers we are see it as the start of the holiday season!
