Is shinee more popular than suju?

This isn’t new it was the case when these groups were active too. Suju never had good digitals in Korea. But overall fandom wise I’d say suju is still higher.

shinee has Taemin so he is in super m and main dancer so soloist.

As a fan of both groups, this one’s hard for me but I’d say SHINee would be slightly more popular whereas SuJu’s fan base has dwindled in recent years. They’re still the most popular among second gen groups though.

There are too many aspects to determine it. One of the aspects is fandom, I think ELF is bigger than Shawols years ago since I don't follow both in recent years. However, just like someone said that Shinee's digital performance is good than SUJU. So, it is tight for me

I would say recently, SHINee, it wasn't always the case but when you factor in GP SHINee is gonna come out on top.

Suju has been around a long time, the fanbase, while still nothing to laugh at, have lost some traction due to many factors, age of the group/fans, the dating thing, etc.

They are both amazing senior groups, and after everything they've both accomplished, who cares.

Shinee as a group has more recognition in the gp than Suju as a group but Suju members have more recognition as individuals due to their variety shows. Children know who Heechul and Shindong is but they don’t know they are from Super Junior. Internationally, I can only judge by tours and Suju has been able to tour more than Shinee.

i would say super junior is still more popular.

in korea, super junior nowadays struggles to make their songs chart on korean music sites. but you know, they always break their records and chart on non-korean music charts such as taiwan's kkbox and latin billboard charts. since 2017, they dominate taiwan's kkbox korean album chart. they are also pretty strong when it comes to physical sales. according to the gaon chart, they're the only 2nd gen kpop group that hit 500,000 albums sold this year with their album the renaissance. i know the korean gp doesnt really look at suju as idols since they also dominate the korean entertainment industry such as in variety shows and award shows.

I would say likable to gp rather than recognition tho. Because SJ members are probably the most recognized idol group by gp for their varieties,
