SM keeps on blatantly ignoring Red Velvet and ReVeluvs are not happy

  • I'm curious about what your expecting them to announce for the anniversary?

Are you expecting a massive concert? Billboard campaign. Dancers twirling through the streets of Seoul with confetti announcing that RV will soon be 9 years old?

My major group's anniversaries are just a day of Live stream, usually only announced a few days beforehand. Hell one year it was simply one member streaming due to circumstances.

you're completely missing the point of the thread

  • I don't have the issue that the Reveluv who sent the protest truck had, about the merely 2 full albums since debut. Sure, more full albums would have been nice, but we've had a lot of EPs and comebacks, many of which excelled in creativity in style and concept with strong B-side songs on top of that.

I mean, if there's one top group fanbase that could really, rightfully complain about disappointing discography content output, then it should be Blinks with the meagre amount of Blackpink songs that they've gotten from YGE.

But I am disappointed with how SM have been handling Red Velvet the past year or two: I can still recall Joy saying how they were going for a comeback every season, in an interview at their Feel My Rhythm comeback. After that we've only had their Birthday comeback which just didn't have the impact, creatively and qualitatively, that FMR had.

I'm worried that with the internal conflict they've had and people leaving, SM management and planning are in shambles right now or at least not at the level that it was a couple of years ago, and that SM groups incl RV will suffer from it. It just feels that the overall content output, in quantity and quality, coming from SM groups was better a couple of years ago.

I hope that it won't be the case that LSM was the main force behind most of the visionary stuff and high content left at SM, and that with his departure and others with him only scraps are left in terms of quantity, quality and creative content output at SM.
