Obviously like fashion etc lol. Older styling in Kpop can be kind of weird especially late 90s and 2000s. It was def getting better by 2012, it wasn't like TVXQ and SUJU debut era level bad.

Ahh, interesting I haven't seen too many people that are big into the older styles. It is nice to see a different perspective.

For me early kpop was lower quality then what was coming out in Japan in the 90s and early 2000s and the styling seemed to be heavily influenced by Jpop.

I think I would much rather listen to 90s and 2000s Jpop than 90s and 2000s Kpop, though I would say the opposite about 2010s and 2020s.

Sorry off topic but

There are some real gems in 90s and 2000s Namie Amuro, Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda, Mika Nakashima etc

They made a new Jdrama centered around that song, one of the better Jdramas I have seen recently. And I like current Jpop as well. There is just a lot of cringe Jpop that doesn't appeal to me. Right now I like Yuuri.
