I’m sure it’s something Namjoon feels strongly about. Dearest Namjoon, I hope by being the ambassador you can create awareness and help the grieving families any way you can and give the deceased soldiers proper burial/recognition.

Namjoon is walking his own path and I’m happy for him.

This isn't the west. Unlike the USA where you likely have many NGOs that deal with veteran affairs etc its not always like that here in Korea and the government is usually the primary entity in charge of stuff like this. Especially when these situations involve international agencies and operations overseas. As despite the war happening here it did involve many Koreans who came from abroad to defend as well as natural born Americans and the fighting did extend into north Korea and in some cases China. So alot ends up being involved in stuff like this. Something like this though I'm certain Namjoon is happy to do, this honor is something any Korean would be more than proud to do. Especially something this important.

I assume this is part of his service. An intelligent and compassionate man to lead this important and delicate task.

I hope the ceremony is private so his family may attend in peace
