Umm... there's an obvious difference. There's absolutely no ae in the teaser OP linked.

It's obvious what's going on to me. SM 3.0/Kakao is writing off Kwanya/SMCU/planting trees because those are literally Sooman's ideas. The teaser looks like Kakao's reimagining Aespa's world differently from SM 2.0

Aespa was going to make a comeback with a concept relating to Kwangya and planting trees, and Naevis was going to debut. But it was completely scrapped by Kakao because those were Sooman’s ideas, this is why their cb kept getting delayed because SM 3.0 had to make a new cb for them. Of course Naevis is missing.
