Well, the members maybe very well involved in the decisions. But as per results, Some of them got the short end bcos of the shipping problem, not having a digital store etc and Hobi releasing a plastic card with a QR code.

Jimin is the first member to have a proper album roll out which evidently created more enthusiasm in the fandom, so maybe in fan pov I can say fans got the short end of the stick when it comes to previous releases? Cos there wasn’t much fans could do to support them without the company giving them proper resources to support.

I agree with this. imo this is how it went down: the rapline had specific promotional ideas for their albums (lollapalooza, tiny desk/intimate concert, etc) but left hybe to do their rollout (ie the resources and means of distributing the albums). With Hobi and Joon being back to back, hybe really messed up their distribution. And jimin being next he obviously saw the issues with theirs and most likely asked for the typical bts rollout which is something fans can really get behind because we know how to work with it well. Yoongi has chosen a tour/docu as promo but if my theory holds, he will choose the same album distribution as jimin since it guarantees the least amount of f-ups from hybe. And Jin overall is a different case since he only had a single and not an album before enlisting so quickly. So overall OP, I don't think it's about the specific members getting short handed since the first couple to release regardless of who they were would have been screwed since hybe is low-balling their solos.
