How's health care in South Korea because who's gonna pay for knee and spine and shoulder operations once these idols are dropped by their respective companies?

Better than the US
-
few companies care about the health of idols (especially mental health)
-
I heard that they've got an excellent health care system
-
Isn't it the same as other 1st world countries - free?
-
Shouldn't be that big of a problem, they got a functional healthcare system that won't bring them to ruin, like most sane developed countries in the world.
-
Better than the US
Not really an achievement.

I know it's cheaper than the US (not that hard to be)

That's fine, we can go on tangents. As far as I know we're not moderators with stick up our asses, are we?
-
Oh yeah? How are the taxes there?
i have no idea of their general tax pressure, im guessing less than any scandinavian country.
From what i gather they do socialised healthcare combined with private insurances for extra coverage. Every working person pay about 5% of their income to the healthcare system

It's ridiculous in the U.S.

True. A lot of idols will need medical help in the near future. I saw some of them limping sometimes. I don't know how much of an issue that will be considering the most overlooked idols are probably paid really well anyway. And I heard in Korea healthcare is heavily subsidized.
